Flounder, perch, striper, bluefish, weakfish, crabs – the six main targets of Delaware Bay fishermen. A few are caught from shore but the large majority are caught by boat. We maintain and host a range of boats for each specific purpose. Each year one species comes on stronger while another is more elusive; that seems to be the natural effect within a managed fisheries system. We cannot predict day to day how fishing will be. As the saying goes – “that’s why they call it ‘fishing’ and not ‘catching.'”
Here are a few photos of the fish caught at Money Island. What’s your favorite?
